I would not go to the party. They sound very ungrateful! Not even sending thank you cards for a nice housewarming gift??
If you go to the party, I don't think you need to give them an engagement gift, as it seems like you already did.

I would say you already have plans. What can they do it's 2 weeks away? You have already proven your friendship many times so one party should not make or break the friendship.

I would be B!tchy too that's just me though.

ETA: As Marjorie said if you do go I wouldn't give a gift either...

Honestly, I'd lie and say I have plans. That'll teach them not to tell you things at the last minute.

if you dont go to the party its going to cause tension since hes still a gm and more problems will just come along the way, maybe you and fh need to think about if you really want them in your bp, sounds like hes a part of it only because of how long youve all known each other jmo.

i have to agree with everyone else, I would lie and say that I have plans, you are only given 2 weeks notice and weren't sent a invite

I think it sounds fishy -- how do you forget to invite a GM to your eparty? That's just silly! Those should be the first people you think of besides your parents...

If it were me I would say I already had plans. What does your FH say?

i would go to the party and have fun...BUT i would NOT bring a gift...you already gave them card and gift..thats enough

This is a touchy situation. If you dont go its going to cause tension and problems between you guys but at the same time if you do go you will just be feeding into them not respecting your friendship. I like Little J idea....go to the party and have fun but dont bring a gift. If they mention why you didnt give a gift then tell them why

Something I forgot to mention in my OP

I am in a bad way about Eparties in general bc I had to cancle mine due to my FILS so going in general to me is just difficult right now.
