I am in a bad way about Eparties in general bc I had to cancle mine due to my FILS so going in general to me is just difficult right now.
I was going to say that I liked the idea of going an having fun and not bringing a gift. But if its going to make you uncomfortable in any way then don´t go.
Their telling you last minute gives you the perfect excuse to not go!!
And I´m sorry about having to cancel your Eparty. I´m not having one either but for other reasons. it´s still ***** though!!!

I was in a similiar situation and I talked to my FH. Sometimes just venting to him makes him think about things more. Sad to say-but I kind of manipulated him into thinking it was his idea not to go. Let it be his decision if you know what I mean. If you end up having to go-be the better person and be there for your FH but DO NOT bring a gift or even a card!!! Let them know that you are there to support but are aware that there was a reason that they did not send the Einvite.

That's a tough one. If your FH is still going to be his GM, then maybe skipping out isn't a good idea. Then again, if you want to prove a point, then just say you have plans and don't get them another gift. I can't believe they didn't even say thank you, that's just rude.

Do you think it is being the better person or being walked on though? I hate not being the bigger person that is why I am stressed I just dont want to be taken such advantage of.

I think it sounds fishy -- how do you forget to invite a GM to your eparty? That's just silly! Those should be the first people you think of besides your parents...
If it were me I would say I already had plans. What does your FH say?

I would say I had plans. I think it's un-excuseable for them to 'forget' to send an invite to someone who is in their own BP. IMO word of mouth is unexceptable as well.

I would def not go their party. Two weeks notice? Come on now. And you don't owe an explanition as to why you are not going either. And they didn't even thank you for a gift they handed out. Were they raised in a cave? Sorry but I wouldn't call them, ask to hangout, nothing. He's in your wedding party though so FH should call him, only if it's wedding related.
