my friend's fiance's shower is the day after my wedding. they live in another state so they're coming in for my wedding and my friend's family is throwing her a shower the next day. do i have to go??
she didnt come to my shower and we're traveling to their wedding in the fall. i would like to go to her shower but it will be our first day as husband and wife!
i think i'm leaning towards not going but i want to hear some opinions! also, do i send a gift?? she didn't send me one.

I wouldn't go. I also wouldn't expect anyone who was married the day before to be at mine.
also consider, it is for her. Other people will be congratulating you, asking about your wedding, how everything is/was. It could take away from her so I would send a gift but not go.

haha not a bad idea. i was just checking her registry and most things say 'online only' which means i'll have to pay for shipping and that annoyed me lol.
