what would you do?

what would you do?

Hi ladies,
So im currently in the process of deciding what I should do for the day before / day of my wedding...

I have 2 options; either sleep at my moms house the night before get ready there and then have a limo take me and my girls to the rh and have a limo take fh and his guys to the rh...(oh and btw, we both live approx. 35 minutes to the rh)

OR

sleep at the hotel next door to rh the night before and get ready there (we would have to pay for the night before and the next night as I will be getting ready there after their 'check out time') and still have rh and his guys take a limo to the rh.

I'm thinking that it will all depend on pricing of both the limos and the hotel

so right now I am waiting on a return call from the hotel, and I am checking out limo companies..

Please help! Can you please share your limo quotes, and thoughts.
Thanks in advance ladies, I know I can always count on you girls!!! xo

if the sole decision is based on $$, see how much it will be for 1 night in the hotel, and a pickup/drop off service for the limo. I was told it's dramatically cheaper if you do a PU/DO verses taking a package.

If it's reasonably priced, then go for that. You'll be able to have a bit more time to get ready since it's closer to the RH.

But if your sentimental (like me lol), then I'd opt to take pictures at your parent's home. That's what I'm doing- it's my childhood home, so for me i'd like to look back years from now and see my old house.

hope that helps!!

eta: check with your hotel and see if they will offer you a free night based on how many of your guest book hotel rooms. I was told from my hotel if we book more than 10 hotel room, we'd get the honeymoon suite for free

Re: what would you do?

I am very torn, because I do want to get ready at my house (it is my childhood home) but I don't want to have the added stress of being in my dress and in the limo for 35 minutes. lol

ugh, i need to hear the price quotes for both limos and the hotel and hopefully I will be able to decide.

btw, I did request price quotes for pick up and drop off service for the limos!

thank you!!!!

Actually, our RH included a night in the hotel for us, for the night of our wedding...
but I don't want to 'get ready' with my bridesmaids in the 'newlywed suite' that FH and I will be sharing that night ya know?

yeah I totally agree with you. But maybe you'd be able to work something out with them and get a standard room to just get ready in. Hotels always have extra rooms they never say they have availability for, so it's worth a shot to ask. Maybe they'll just let you have it for the morning, or however long you'll need it.

Good Luck!!
