What would you do?

My RH is on the water and we're supposed to be getting there by boat - which will be great, as long as the weather is good. But if its raining, we have no plan 'B'. It's likley going to be two trips by boat - FH and the guys and then me and BMs. The RH is about 5 minutes by car from where we'll be getting ready. I'm starting to wonder if I should book a limo as a back up plan - just for me and BMs, and just for the trip to the RH. Any ideas on how much a limo company would charge for that? How much a deposit do you have to leave? Or do you think I could just call a local company that week (if it looks like bad weather) and book something last minute?

Hmmm, you could just book the limo and call it your 'insurance' for the day.
Are ppl going to see you pull up to the hall or are you going prior to the ceremony to take pics? If no one is going to see you you could just call your local car service and maybe get black cars to take you guys since its only 5 minutes, or call that day and see if they have a limo available...Do you have alot of girls?
I got a regular 14 passenger Lincoln to take me to the hall because no one is going to see me because we are going hours before for pics so I didnt care what i got whatever was less expensive.

For your purposes, I wouldn't even bother with a limo company. I'd have a car service on standby. There are many out there who do have limos if that's what you are looking for and it'll probably be much cheaper for the quick trip. I'm in Brooklyn so I don't really have a recommendation for you, but that's what I suggest.

I unfortunately found that most limo companies have a 3 hour minimum. Why dont you check with your RH...they may have options considering they are the one you are getting the boat through, right?
I def think its worth getting a backup plan...

i'm sending you FM my limo co. did not do the 3 hour minimum for me since we only needed to go to the hall
