What would you do? HELP

One of my friends from grad school is getting married. We are friends that speak via email, phone, or through voicemail every two weeks or so. Since we both started working & she moved, we only get together 2-3 per year. She is invited to my wedding & coming. I am invited to her wedding too. However, I just found out my 10 year High School reunion is the same night as her wedding. What do I do? I want to go to both but that is not a possibility

I think I would..... well, I think u should go to reunion. I think that is what you want to do, otherwise, I don't think it would be a quesion... I would go to reunion!

She will only get married once. There will probably be more reunions.

This is a tough one, Kell....honestly, I went to my reunion and had such high expectations and was completely disappointed. Is she the type of friend who will definitely be at yours?

I would probably go to the wedding since you knew about it first and she is going to yours. Or if you an go to the ceremony and then the reunion try that but let her know ahead of time that you won't be ableto attend the reception portion.

This is definitely a tough call, my opinion on this is that event though you want to go to the reunion and see all of those people, how long has it been since you have seen them and when will you ever see them again? I know that it is a nice thought to see these people, catch up, etc. But, even though you only see this friend a couple of times a year, I look at it this way (since I have a similar friend situation), do you see this friend continuing to be a part of your life? If so, then she is more worth it because of that and again her wedding as is yours, is a once in a lifetime . However, if you see her slipping away anyway (to the point where you don't see her as a part of your life both in the near future and in the long run), then I would go to my reunion. Hope that helps

This is tough... the way I see it, you probably keep in touch with the people from high school that you want to see. Therefore I would go to your friend's wedding. Originally, my hs reunion was scheduled for my friend's wedding. I planned on going to the wedding, because I knew it would be a once in a lifetime event.

Blah!!!! Ten years is nothing!!! Wait for the 20 and go to your friend's wedding!!! Ten years is just enough time for everyone to get back to pretty much where they were at graduation.... Short marriages, quick divorces, college, military, most are back home with mom and dad... I say wedding!
