What Would You Do? (long)

OK so I ordered my headpiece about 2 months ago and they called me 3 weeks ago to come in and pick it up! (I was all excited made hair trials and everything)! So I go to pick it up try it on and something is not right at all.....I take it off look at it and 4 of the center stones (right smack in the front) totally have a brownish tint to them and are not clear at all!!! Even the sales girls helping me noticed it! So she said she would call the designer and put a note in with the headpiece when sending it back marking exactly the stones we were talking about. OK fine so today 3 more weeks later I get a call from the girl that the designer sent it back and although everything was clearly marked she thinks it doesn't look good at all and knows I will not be happy!!! Now they want me to come in AGAIN to sit down with the designer and go over it AGAIN!!!! (HELLO!?!?! get rid of the damn brown stones that are smack dab in the middle of my damn headpiece) She is the designer does she really need me to sit there and hand point them out to her......its her profession for goodness sake....shouldn't she clearly see them????

I honestly do not even want the damn thing anymore and want to go somewhere else!!! I feel that for the designer who has a good reputation, that this should not be happening at all!!!!! What do I do girls???

Sorry so long.....I jsut needed to get it out!

Give it one more chance and tell them that. You have to get a little stern with these people or they will walk all over you. Ask if you can contact the designer yourself or write a letter to them.

I went through the same thing. My piece was custom made and the stones werent symmetrical. We marked, on a photocopy, where the corrections were to be made and sent it back to the designer. A couple of weeks later, it was returned to me problem solved. It was a rather expensive piece. Regardless of how much you pay, you are still the bride and it should be right - even if it means inconveniencing yourself.
