Yeah, I know I'm behind. Seriously behind. My wedding's in June, and I don't know what to do next. Here's what I've done so far:
Booked the hall Booked the band Got my dress Got my BM's dresses Got FG baskets, cake topper, garter Booked my makeup person Booked the photog & videog Favors
Here are the big things I haven't done yet:
Florist Limos Ceremony location Officiant Tuxes FG dresses Invites Registry-- started it, but just barely Wedding band for FH Gifts for wedding party Hairdresser (the person I expected to use is pregnant and due the week after my wedding! YIKES! No clue who to use now) Written vows Finalized guest list (my parents are really procrastinating) Teeth whitening (when do you do that if you're having it done at the dentist?)
If you had to pick an order, what would you say I need to do, like, TODAY, and what can wait a little longer?

For real. How could you wait sooo long for that? That's the most important thing.

Re: What would you do next?
Yeah, the ceremony location has been a huge problem. We can always have it at the hall as a back-up, but I am trying and trying to find somewhere to do it outdoors (park, arboretum, college campus, etc.). One of my close friends from college is now a minister, so I can ask him, but I wanted to wait until I had a location set... because if I wind up doing a church wedding, I can't ask him.
But, OK, you all would do the ceremony location and then the limo, then the flowers, then everything else like hair and registry and stuff like that?

I would also do your registry because you never know when your shower is going to be. You want to have everything on there for your guests to buy.

I would say ceremony, book the florist (but you can probably wait to iron out the details) then limos & invites.
I would say limos could wait, but as someone said, it is prom season.
Invites need to be mailed out 2 months early so that's April, so you have to allow time for them to come in & to address them (it might be quicker to have them done professionally)
So, as soon as you get the ceremony straightened out, you should order the invites.

I agree.
You need to know where the ceremony is before you can order the invites, and invites can take several weeks to come in.
Also- you need to know your final guest count before you can order the invites (so you get the correct amount)

Ceremony location Officiant Limos Hairdresser Florist Tuxes FG dresses Finalized guest list Invites RegistryWedding band for FH Gifts for wedding party Written vows Teeth whitening
that is how i would go - you need somewhere to hold the wedding and someone to perform it after that limos - prom season and the hairdresser - especially if you want someone who will come to you then the rest of it GOOD LUCK
eta - i got my invites in 4 days that is why i put it low - but if it is going to take weeks move that up to number 4

Re: What would you do next?
Definetly do the ceremony location and officiant. Then you should also do your registry because I'm sure your shower is in the process of being planned!! And of course the invites since you should be mailing them out 2 months prior to your wedding date.

In order, this is what I think should be done pronto:
Ceremony location Florist Limos Finish registry- Showers are usually 2 mon before wediing-- which could mean APRIL!! FG dress and then everything else
Of course.. try to double up and do two things in one week.

Re: What would you do next?
I agree with the other girls, book the ceremony, order invitations, register and book a florist now.
The ceremony locatin is the most important. I would make a list RIGHT AWAY of the top 3 places you want to have the ceremony and then call them immediately. If you can get the ceremony place booked by the end of this week, then next weekend you should order your invitations. You'll have to choose something that can be ready quickly, or print them at home. Then I would regsiter next weekend too, and choose the florist.
The other things I would do soon after the above. GOOD LUCK!!!
ETA: IF you are waffling between ceremony locations, sometimes you just have to pick one for the sake of making a decision. It will still be beautiful and amazing because what's important is that you are marrying the love of your life!! So don't get too tied up in the choices.
