We just booked our honeymoon flight to aruba- we wanted direct and cheap and we decided to go with a 7:20 flight out of JFK
We are getting marrried at Crest Hollow- reception should end at 12:30 if we dont add on overtime hours....so we should be out by 1 after w epack, by the time we get to where we are staying it will be about 2 before we get into bed...then we ave to be up again at 5 to get to the airport in time
Would you get a hotel room or suite for just 3 hours ??? Im so conflicted cause i feel 1) its a waste of money 2) we might not even go to sleep 3) but i feel its nice to just be alone by ourselves after wards otherwise we would go home with our families and have an after party

Jenn- we are in the same boat kinda. We are leaving at 2 the next day, but have to be at the airport by noon so we are going to stay near Newark so we can sleep as late as possible.
I think a friend of mine went directly to JFK and stayed there for her early morning flight.

I agree, save the money. In a few hours you will be in Aruba in addition to that you are going to be exhausted from your LONG day all you'll want to do is sleep.

We have the exact same situation. We are going home to our house.. Do you have a place with Fh now? Will you then? i wouldn't go out with Family but I couldn't rationalize a hotel for 3 hours.
