If you booked with one vendor over another...and the other vendor emailed you as to why would you give them the real reason???

a vendor did this to me...i just ignored the email.

you already told them you weren't going to use them, you have no obligation to tell them anything else.

It depends. If I truly liked the vendor but liked another one a bit more, then I'd tell them the reason why.

If the vendor was a jerk or something, I'd ignore them.

i would, i did this with a photographer, really like dtheir work but he said a few comments that were irrelevant and juvenile... maybe he could learn from it

I agree. I told a florist that the reason I wasn't going to use her was price, and she actually came down (which was great, since I liked her more!). I had a dj we didn't choose email me. Honestly, I thought he was too smarmy--he was trying to sell us things we didn't need. I ddn't respond to his. I go by the old if you can't say anything nice rule

On one hand I agree, I think it's none of their business, on the other hand, maybe they want to know so they can improve for the next time. I'd just tell them the honest reason!

I would and I have, but I was very polite about it....it wasn't anything against their company, just that another company offered me something I wanted instead.
