Ok i received a shower invitation and only place she is registered is for a honeymoon registry. I am trying to figure out what to get.
Some of the options are: breakfast, lunch, dinner, massage, manicure, shopping, honeymoon travel airfare plus upgrade to 1st class flight, upgrade to a suite at the hotel well one of them bc they are going to 2 locations, i think 2nd location same thing though. Rental car, sightseeing at specific places, cocktails at a bar, and tons more stuff like this.
I never bought anyone anything off a honeymoon registry. I dont think i'd do the airfare, or upgrade but MAYBE dinner or something like that and something else similar i guess.
What would you do? what would you want to get? or what would you feel comfortable giving?
btw for those who don't know, it looks the same way a regular registry does. So lets say you picked airfare it will show : wished for 10 still needs 10 and price shows $100, so you can buy 1 which is $100 towards airfare or however many you want. Same with other things such as dinner it will say wished for 4 and its at lets say $50 each.

maybe massages? I love those...so maybe you can do that!
That is something they both can enjoy...and you can also do something cute with that too...like give them massasge oil and you can make up a gift certificate saying this entitles you to a massage....and put it in a gift bag.
you can even put anything related to massages in the bag...

ok well, i would not do something that is super expensive that you would only be paying for a portion of
lets just say she doesnt get enough credits towards the airfare - what happens to the $$ people spent?
using your example, if she needs 10 X 100 per person to upgrade a flight, and only gets 7 - that is $700 and cant use it

i would get something that i could give the whole thing

How much do you want to spend on her shower gift? If you have an amount in mind then just pick something that comes closest to that amount. I think that's what I'd do. that's a little hard though, I never bought anything off a honeymoon registry either. Dinner is a safe bet i would think.

there is one that is wine tasting, also beaches in capri which i guess you have to pay for, didnt know that. Then a few for tours in rome, la grotta azura in capri so there are a few things like that.

i would pay for soemthing they may not do when they are there if someone else doesnt pay for it.. ie: spa, excursion

she wold have to pay the balance to finish the upgrade same thing with your regular registries.. if something isnt bought you will ahve buy it yourself

well alot of things are in the same range so lots of options. I know neither have I, but yeah dinner is something all couples want to do on their hm

If you can see if she is close to receiving the gift, I would get her that. If not, I would get them massages. yeah i guess thats what i am trying to figure out. Would they rather have things paid for that they NEED such as airfare, dinners and other necessities hahaha or something that otherwise they wouldn't pay for. I don't know why i am so undecisive about this, well i do kinda know why i am hahaha but i have to pick something

the prices for those arent bad bc 1 person doesnt pay for the whole thing, its split up. For example if its $200 for one of those excursions its broken down to 4 and it $50 each to contribute towards it

OK I have a honeymoon registry and this is how it works....you can buy whatever you want for her...in the end she gets a check for the entire amount of things purchased on the registry. So it doesnt matter! But ofcourse you do want to personalize!
So far I have gotten 2 $60 towards horseback riding. I also am hoping for massages and/or nail treatments! PS it would be nice if someone picked limo service to the airport but people prob dont like that one. If i were you I'd pick something that doesnt seem like something everyone will want to get. It is her only registry so try to pick something different.
Lastly...I do plan on taking the excursions and using the money what it was intended for. BUT not everyone does that :(

We were going to do this...but then I heard you just get checks for the money people give you. It's all lumped together....not broken out by gift. I think the prices of things, airfare, etc. are all just estimations.
I'm pretty sure thats the case...?
But if it were me I'd get a dinner or excursion.

actually i forgot to ask this question, thank you for reminding me. What does one do? Do you write it down somewhere, is there even gift opening, not sure.
I actually cant even make it, its the weekend i am in vegas, i feel real bad bc she was at mine but we booked everything in january for vegas so nothing i can do. But if i do have to physically give something i do want to know bc i'll give it to somebody to bring it for me
