My BP is wearing chocolate brown I don't know if I should demand them wear the same shoes. They must be same color though. The wedding is 10-26I was thinking of closed toe. Should they get closed toe and get a shoe that can be dyed to match the gown from Bridal Reflections or gold shoes?

im letting my girls pick. one of my bm's (bm kristin who likes to lurk on LIW) got her shoes & she got gold open toed shoes. my other bm nicole (also a lurker at times) has gold open toed shoes already that she plans on wearing.
i will keep you updated on what the other bm's decide on. hehe!

Please don't make your BMs wear the same shoe. Everyone is comfortable in different types of footwear and it's really important to be comfortable when you're on your feet for so long. I'd suggest that you just ask them to get dyables to match the dress. This way you know that the shoes will all be the same color.

I totally agree with this. Your girls will be much happier if they can wear shoes that suit them.

let them wear whatever they are comfortable wearing...don't force them to wear the same exact shoe...as long as they match the dress (not necessarily eachother) it will look good

I agree as well. Please don't demand that they all wear the same shoe. Everyone's feet are different and they're going to be standing on them all day just for you. They should be as comfortable as they can. Just pick a color....and i'm all for open toe regardless.

I let mine wear whatever they wanted. We had espresso brown dresses. Some girls had brown, some gold, some bronze, they all were beautiful in their own way. Plus- the dresses were long so you couldnt see the shoe anyway. And honestly noone looks at anyone else's feet at a wedding well, I dont atleast... so i didnt really care. My personal choice of color if I had to wear a brown dress would be gold though. good luck!

I let my gals do whatever they wanted. Their dresses are long enough to cover their shoes. Everyone has different tastes and preference of styles when it comes to shoes. Another thing to keep in mind is financial situations. My gals all had varying situations--->1 bought a condo not too long ago, another recent bought a house by herself & another is working part-time. I'd say let they have their choice in shoe but you can ask them to purchase a dyeable shoe.
