Our friends 4 month baby boy is getting baptised on Sunday and we're not sure what kind of gift you get for that? Any ideas?

Check or bond, but I'd go with check.
I went to my cousin's child's baptism last year and I think we gave $100.

Re: what would you give as a baptism gift?
I like the savings bond idea, but when my best friends daugter was baptised I bought a very pretty cross and took it to things remembered and hade her name and the date engraved on it. It hangs in her room and I got my best friend a picture frame that was also engraved. I just am not a check/savings bond person.....I like to give gifts

Re: what would you give as a baptism gift?
Thank you all for your opinions! I like both the cheque/bond and the engraved cross. They are VERY religous and into their church. So that may be the way to go. I'll have to stop off at Things to Remember and see.
