Ok here is the situation. My FBIL asked FH to borrow his car this weekend. We will both be away so we have no use for it- that is not the problem.
My FH had 3 accidents last year- two were NOT his fault. As a result he got dropped from his insurance and his paying through the nose with his new insurance. He is on probation for the next couple of years.
His brother is somewhat of a reckless driver, I told FH that I did not think it was a good idea to lend him the car. Fh says that I am being heartless- how can he say no to his brother.
I still stand my ground- I would NOT have lent him the car.
What are your thoughts????

sorry, but I'm with your DH on this one. I would never say No to my sister, regardless of how she drives.
He got in 3 accidents, but 2 weren't his fault! Can't hold that against him.

Wendy you are so on point.
He IS in a high risk category now because of his two accidents. That is why I am concerned.
