I have the option to have 1 stationary bar and 1 rolling bar OR 2 stationary bars in my reception The rolling bar would roll from table to table or just people can go up to it as the night goes on. At first I thought it was a good idea but it could be at one table for liel 1/2 hr less defeating the purpose. So should I jsit put 2 stationary bars in instead?
We are having about 11 tables

I'd say stationary bars.. I've never seen a rolling bar and I'd be nervous it'd like be in the guests' way.

You're right, the rolling bar might be more hassle than it's worth. Also, if people are dancing, they might not be at their tables when the bar rolls around. I think it's better to have two stationary bars than have a line form at the one stationary bar and people not knowing about the rolling bar.

Definitely agree, stationary. I've been to weddings with the rolling bars, they don't carry the same alcohol options as the stationary bars, so while it was convenient for some people, i had to go to the stationary bar anyway because the rolling bar didn't have raspberry vodka.

I like the two stationary bars. I think it prevents guests from being stuck at the bar, which I hate. The two bars in the reception room is one of my favorite things about my venue. I think its so accommodating for guests.

Stationary. That way people can get a drink when they want to not when the rolling bar decides to 'roll by' no pun intended

This is similar to what I was going to say. Definitely go with stationary.

Lol I am surprised to see so many stationary bar votes. It makes sense, but my initial reaction was 'omg the bar comes to me?!' Could be one of those things your guests talk about for months...or like everyone else said it might be a great idea but not work out in the end.
