What would you prefer?

I would like to treat my BMs to something. I have a few ideas.
1) Manicure/pedicure the day before the wedding (everyone except one BM can make it)
2) Make-up day of the wedding (all but one BM want it done)
3) Cost of hairdresser day of the wedding
The costs are all about the same. What would you guys prefer if you were in the bridal party? Does anyone have any other ideas?

I'd probably go with the hairdresser - since everyone will make use out of it.

I plan on paying for the up-do's the day of the wedding. It's the only thing everyone will be doing. Not all of them are having their makeup done, and some of them are having their nails done before coming to LI.

For us, it's the larger expense, and I already have so much guilt over how much they are spending for our wedding, so paying for their hair-do's will make me feel a little better.

Are you requiring that they all get their hair done? Three of my four girls did it themselves. Two of four did their own makeup. So, in my situation 'Manicure/pedicure the day before the wedding' would have been the best treat to have given. For the one who can't come the day before, you can give her a gift certificate.

Jeng - I know!! I can't believe it is less than a week and a half away! My wedding countdown clock is down to the single digits! Hang in there

As far as the BMs go, I'm not requiring them to do anything but, as far as I know, they all want their hair done except possibly one girl. I guess I'll try to get final #s for the hair so I can make my final decision.

I would rather have a mani/pedi anyday of the week. But I would give the girls a choice. Let them each pick what they want to have done.

I agree with michele. Tell them what you'd like to do, and let them choose which they want. Even if they each want something different (if the prices are about the same, it shouldn't matter.)
