Money - definitely! If you want gift ideas, then my favorites were the Kim Anderson statue 'the ring' my MOH gave me and the wedding countdown clock, the other gift I loved was a basket with wine, wine glassed, a picture frame, candle and massage oil all wrapped up in tulle with a beautiful ribbon - the presentation was amazing, one more - Sephora 'here comes the bride' kit with lots of pampering stuff!

I got a beautiful wedding planner that I use all the time. It was also from my stepmother's friend who really didn't even have to get us a gift. It was just sent to me one day- a total suprise. Which is another reason I love it.
I also got 8 of my wine glasses from my stepmother and I love them. Claud2001 got me a great candle with our names and date on it.

It has to be our FIRST gift. We got engaged on December 15th and the next day my Mom got us an Christmas ornament from Fortunoff. It was a gold plated ornament which had two hearts w/ our names on it and the date of engagement. It meant ALOT to me and by far has been the most meaningful!!!!!

All of my bridesmaids made me the picture of me and my FH as little kids(black and white with red rose) dressed up as a bride and groom. They gave me wallets and an 8 X 10. The most creative and best gift because I love kim anderson!!!

We have received so many wonderful gifts! My parents have been so generous and have given so much! I can't even recall how much they have given. My FH's parents won in an auction to benefit the Sept. 11 Fund the most beautiful pottery (serving tray, soup bowls, toureen, and ladel, pitcher, and bowl). It is one of a kind, hand made, art. I love making pottery and to receive such beautiful work was so nice! I can't wait until I have a home to display it all in!

my mom & stepfather got me a combination birthday/engagement gift (engagement party was 2 days after b-day) - a Weber gas grill!!!! I LOVE it! They also hosted our engagement party at their home.

His parents got us silver flatware & the storage box for it!

Well, I am obsessed with Pretty as a Picture by Kim Anderson. Ever see them? They started out as pictures and graduated to figurines. They are black-and-whites with soft color of little boys and girls. I have tons of figurines. After we got engaged, my mom got me one of a girl showing her engagement ring to her girlfriend. It's called 'The Ring'. And another one of a little girl and boy kissing. That one is 'We've Only Just Begun.' I LOVE them.

We got our toasting glasses with our initials on them. We later had the date put on. But that was our 1st real wedding-y gift at the EP. Everything else was $$$$$ or picture frames.
