if you had a pretty good clue about your shower but didn't want to give it away that you knew? i always dress very casual on the weekends so dressing up for a 'shopping trip' would be obvious to everyone.

I would just wear a neat outfit,....but make sure it's pants if you'r not normally a skirt wear-er.... maybe khakis or dressier capris??

um, you could claim you want to get a new pair of shoes to match an outfit and that you have to wear the outfit to match. or go shopping the shopping the day before and pick up something that's so great you 'just have to wear it.'
claim you have to go somewhere afterwards, so you have to dress nice?
or could could just throw something nice in you bag/car and change after the surprise.

I think someone sliped with mine hehe i think its this sunday so i am going to wear a nice tee and jeans something nice but not oh look at what she is wearing she found out!!! usually sundays i am all scrubed out so i am kind of glad i found out...

you could wear jeans with a dressier top, or bring a nice top and shoes with you in the car and say you've been keeping them there 'just in case'
i know when mine is so i'm glad i don't have to worry about this

thanks ladies! depending on the weather, i am either going to wear capris or jeans with a nice top. pretty much what i would wear out on the weekend anyway (when meeting up with friends).

I agree.....I had a friend who got dressed up for 3 weekends straight (as in doing her hair and make up and getting the girls all dressed up) to go to target....then she finally found out when her nail lady slipped
