Its chair that supports baby without straps, the seat is a little sunken so that they cannot get up and out.
You can find them on ebay.
I thought is was a neat idea but by the time I discovered it, I think it was a little too late for Aidan. He liked to sit so much a few months ago, but now he's rather be moving around.

Re: What's a bumbo seat?
here's a pic of Mallory in one, she's about 2 1/2 months old in it... i put her on the island in the kitchen when i'm cooking and she likes to be on the counter on the bathroom so she can look in the mirror while i'm getting ready

Re: What's a bumbo seat?
This seat looks great, but I wonder what age they can use it to? Claire is 5 months and can hold her head great and is starting to be able to support her back when placed in a sitting up position so I wonder if it is too late to get it for her?

Does anyone know what age or weight you can use it up to? It looks great but I don't want to get it if Kiera is only going to be in it for a month.

The box says 3-14 months.

The bottom of the seat is wider and is very sturdy, it's definately not tipping over, the baby would have to be very strong to get up out of it!
