Re: What's a comfy number of ppl at a table?
I guess it depends on the size of the table....i was at a wedding that sat 12 at a table, and it wasn't bad at all!

I think 10-12 is normal - it also depends on the table. I was at a wedding with oval tables and 12 was too many

It depends on how big the tables are. Ask your BM and they will tell you how many you can seat. My tables fit 10 comfortably.

It might depend on the type of table. My hall had oval tables for up to 14. We did 10/12 and that seemed perfect.

10 or less depending on the size of the table. I sat at a table at a wedding with 11 people once and it was very uncomfortable.

Villa's told me I can have as many as I need. They have different sized tables -- for instance, they have tables for 16 people, which seat 14 comfortably. If the table seats 12, I'd try to only seat 10. I've been at weddings where it was very tight and I hated that!

It depends on the table...if it's round I wouldn't do more than 10, oval, you can do 12.

like some of the other girls mentioned... it depends on the table. I plan on keeping mine at 8-10 people per table.

I had oblong tables (the long ones) and we had 12 at some tables...they were fine!! You can see the set-up in my review.

it depends upon the size of the table. at my venue they had tables for 10, 12, and 14. so we were able to vary the size of the number of people accordingly.

If they say it fits 12, 10 is usually the way to go I think.

our place told us our tables could fit any where from 8-12...12 being less comfortable. We're aiming for 10, but it all depends on the size of the table.

We didn't put more than 10 people per table but each table could hold 12...I wanted everyone to be as comfy as possible!

Re: What's a comfy number of ppl at a table?
I think 8-10. I was recently at a wedding with (normal-sized) rounds, and there were 12 people, and it was very tight. Also, can you mix? We are going to do 8's and 10's, and then maybe a bigger round of 12 for family.

What room are you in? I think it depends on the room at JT. The size of the room makes a difference.
