It might depend on the type of table. My hall had oval tables for up to 14. We did 10/12 and that seemed perfect.
I was at a wedding that had 14 of us at an oval table. It is nice because the same table can seat 10 as well and not look empty.

What room are you in? I think it depends on the room at JT. The size of the room makes a difference.
oak room is where we are in

there is nothing worse than an overcrowded table... we were SO overcrowded at a recent wedding at Lambardis on the sound... it was one of those oval tables...

Our BM told us comfy is 10-12...however, we can fit 14....I think we're going to try to fit 14 per table...less centerpieces to buy!

Hmm I think 10 is most comfy, but if you need to do 12...

I had oblong tables (the long ones) and we had 12 at some tables...they were fine!! You can see the set-up in my review.

We are doing 10 at a table. But I have been to plenty of weddings with 12 at a table and there was plenty of room. All a matter of preference and what your hall offers.

I went to a wedding once that had 15 people at the table, and it was crowded...

Same here...but they actually told me 16 fit in one table....I disagree!

Re: What's a comfy number of ppl at a table?
Totally depends on the size and shape of the table. We had long oval tables and sat between 10 and 12 people at each table. I think that more than that would have been too crowded, but 12 was (I think) fine.

It depends on the size of the table and the size of the guests.
