Well I'm 22 years old and idk y but everybody is telling me that im too yang to get merried!! it is getting a lil enoying.. It's not that its going to change anything cuz i kno what i want but just wondering what do you girls think??

They used to say that to me too....but by the time I get married I will be 27 so that's perfect for me. My only advice is to make sure you are established in your own life as far as school, job etc. That way nothing will get in the way of the wedding.

I dont think there's anything 'good age' to get married. I think it depends on the person. I know people who are in their 30's and are not ready to get married. I know people in their early 20's and are definatly mature enough and ready to handle marriage.
I think it depends on life experience, maturity, and just being ready.

Surprisingly no one has said it to me - i am 23 now and when i get married I will be 6 days shy of my 25th bday.

i as 22 when i got engaged too and i'll be 25 when i get married. no one has really made any comments about being to young. i dont think it really matters your age, it matters how mature and ready you are.

I don't think there is a good age, I just think it is when you are ready. I'm 29 now and will be 31 when I get married. there is no way that I was ready for marriage at 22. Unfortunately, I knew a couple that got married right after we graduated college and they were divorced within a year.

I was 21 when I got engaged, A day away from my 22nd birthday. What people fail to understand is that age is not just physical maturity it's also a state of mind. When individuals try to draw there conclusions based on age it annoys me so much. Age does not really dictate mental maturity. I honestly do not think that getting married in your 20's is a good thing. There's so many advantages. What's most important is that you and FH both love and understand each other. Also, the fact that both of you have made a commitment to each other should be a sign to naysayers that you both know what you are getting yourself into. Sometimes the best thing is not the most popular(others fail to see that)

i was 21 when i got engaged and will be just under 25 when i get married. I get the 'your too young' thing all the time...just brush it off, people dont think when they speak sometimes...

I don't think there's a right age. You just know when you are ready to get married. I like the age I am right now (25) and i'll be 26 when I get married. Leaves a few years to enjoy my marriage before I start having kids in my late 20s!

I don't think age really means anything, i don't think it determines whether you are ready for marriage or not, every person is different and at different stages of their lives at different ages, and no one can really say what is it right for anyone else. As long as you feel its right that is all that matters
I was 27 when i got engaged and i will be 29 at the time of my wedding.

i agree that its not about age.. if you're ready to be married and you found that person you want to spend the rest of your life with then great!! i was 23 when i got engaged. I will be getting married a week after my 26th birthday.

i used to get the complete opposite. i constantly would hear when r you finally getting engaged? i got engaged at 24 & will be 26 when i get married. we r together for 8 years so people felt that we should have been engaged earlier. those people are crazy. like other posts said it depends on the people invovled.
