whats a good age??

Well I'm 22 years old and idk y but everybody is telling me that im too yang to get merried!! it is getting a lil enoying.. It's not that its going to change anything cuz i kno what i want but just wondering what do you girls think??

if you're ready you're ready...when my fh proposed i didn't know if i was ready, but now i'm glad we're getting married

i just turned 25 and will be 26 going on 27 when i walk down the aisle

I'll be 30!! Which I think is old...hahaha.

I agree with a few posters that said make sure you're established with a job, income, savings. etc.

It is one thing to have your parents pay for your wedding...but if they're going to be paying your rent for 2 years after the wedding, I don't think you were necessarily ready to get married. Once you're married you should be able to create a life on your own.

i used to get the complete opposite. i constantly would hear when r you finally getting engaged? i got engaged at 24 & will be 26 when i get married. we r together for 8 years so people felt that we should have been engaged earlier. those people are crazy. like other posts said it depends on the people invovled.

Wow, this is weird, but I have a big ditto! Engaged at 24, married at 26, and together 8 years. Spooky. LOL.

like others have said, i dont think there is a certain age that is right or wrong. only you and your FH truly know if you two are ready to take that next step.

some people are ready at 21 and others arent ready til 35. it depends what you want out of life and when you yourself are ready for it.

dont let people hurt you with their negativity.

I don't think there is a good age, I just think it is when you are ready. I'm 29 now and will be 31 when I get married. there is no way that I was ready for marriage at 22. Unfortunately, I knew a couple that got married right after we graduated college and they were divorced within a year.

I also was not ready at 22...I was young and still getting my Masters degree. It was not until the other day that I realized how great it is that I waited. I look back and see how much I learned.

I feel like FH and I are getting a head start on buying a house and having a family. When we are in our 40s our children will be older and we can enjoy ourselfs while some of our friends will have school aged children.
