hotle usually throw parties I know that the huntington hilton did that at one time, In nassau county what about dinner for two ciao baby is really good or pick a more romantic spot.

We are going to have a low key New Year. We don't have a lot of money and we don't want to go sit at someones house, so we are going to Jillians. They are having some big to do and its $39.95 for the night. Unlimited games and some other stuff. FH and I love games so thats where we're headed!!

Someone was talking about having a party where everyone brings a course and they all prepare it together. Its a good way to share recipes and have fun with a few friends and a bottle (or 3) or wine.

WE are spending it with my parents. We usually just get appetizers and fall asleep before new years eve ends, wake up at midnight kiss everyone, part seperate ways and go to bed. Next year though, we are going to our catering hall for new years. We want to wait until after we are married and make it a tradition.

Why not invite some friends over and dig into some fondue? Play some silly games, watch the ball drop? Or just the two of you...
You can cook a gourmet meal together and make yourselves a little picnic in your living room/dining room/whatever.

DH and I order our favorite take out, eat it in bed, have a romantic night and go to sleep. We don't like the clubs etc on New Years, and usually get together with friends New Years day. We just prefer to stay in and celebrate together.
