their wedding dresses and veils after the wedding????
my mom says i should sell it. i wanted to sell the veil but not the dress... whats everyone else doing???

getting it cleaned and packed in one of those box things..........it took me WAYYYYYYYYYY too long to find it and I love it - maybe I can wear it around the house??

I don't wanna sell mine it's too sentimental. Actually one of my cousins that got married a few years ago ended up making her daughters christening dress out of a piece of her train from her wedding gown and it came out beautiful. Maybe thats what I will do with mine in the future, we'll see.

I want to keep it and use it later to make a christening gown for my future kids.
As for the veil, I always said I'd sell it but now that I have it in my hands I don't want to! It's so pretty! But I probably will.
ETA: If I don't sell it, FH is going to come home many a night and find me sitting on the couch with it on my head.

thats the only reason i would keep it... but we have christening outfits that have been passed down so it would just sit there unused...

keeping the dress, giving my sister the veil when she gets married. Maybe even give my brothers soon to be fiance the veil to wear too.

Keep it. I don't expect my daughter to wear it and we're Jewish so no christening gowns...but I can't give it away.
It'll just sit in my closet.

Right now its just hanging in my closet, I'm hoping to do a trash the dress shoot, so once I do that then I will have it cleaned and probably sell it. I have no reason to keep, were not planning on having kids-so no one to try and pass it down to

weird you ask cause just the other day my little sister (18) asked if it would be weird if she wore my wedding dress on her wedding day...thought it was cute but knowing her she will def want something diff when it is her time! So I am def keeping mine if not her I have another younger sister.
