I will be having spinach dip from Houston's and copious amounts of wine, along with more than a few cigarettes. My best friend and BM is moving out of Manhattan tomorrow and this is our 'celebrate the happy NYC memories' night. She is moving in with her BF in Jersey!!! We are hoping for a soon!

JennRenee - How are you making the soup? I have wanted to make tortellini soup and would like the recipe if you have one.

Hi Annie, here's the recipe... Enjoy!

1 package chopped spinach, fresh or frozen ( I use fresh)
4 14.5 ounce cans reduced sodium chicken broth
1 package of cheese tortellini (I use tri-color... just looks more appealing )
1/4 tbsp dried basil
1/4 tbsp garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste

In a large pot over high heat combine spinach and chicken broth. Heat to boiling, then reduce to low heat. Stir in tortellini and simmer 10 to 15 minutes, or until tortellini is cooked to desired tenderness. Season with basil, garlic, salt and pepper.

Chicken Soup - homemade. Made it last night for DH, he has a cold, but since it's so cold, we'll have it again tonight to warm up.
