Since my last post was about how many people everyone is inviting, i was wondering what everyones budget is....that is if you have one

FH and I will be paying for everything so i just wanted to get an idea of what everyone else was spending

I am hoping not to go over $60,000
My RH alone is going to be $40,000
and the band we booked is $7,000

My budget is 30k & I dont plan on going over it whatsoever... Combined gift from both sets of parents.. I'm actually going to see if I can save any of that $$ I'm a cheap-***!

Im not doing much out of the ordinary....
Friday night wedding - 185 ppl - Westbury Manor
Limos 1500
Band 6000
Photo/Video 5500
Flowers 2500
Dress 2000
Church 750
Invites, programs etc 1000
Hair, Makeup etc 350
Tips 1000

That totals to around 45000
Then you add about 10k for a honeymoon (I want to go to Hawaii)
55000 Total.
YIKES!

what are you getting for $185pp for a friday night in January?
To me that rate seems a little high unless you are getting some crazy package.

I'm hoping to keep it between $25,000-28,000 without the honeymoon. It's funny, I dont think it's too terrible to spend that much on one day but I can not fathom a $10,000 honeymoon. Strange, right? I have no clue what we're going to do for that.

Im having 185 guests.. my wedding is in april not january..dont know why that defaulted on my profile to january 1~!

We might not go on a Honeymoon just because we want to save $ after the wedding to put down for a house....and the HM will come out of our pocket if we do go......were going to mexico next year anyway lol....but our budget is 20k, with my father contributing about 8-10k and the rest is us

I feel the pain. we have to do it ourselves too and i'm really hoping that i can keep it under 30K, but i'm having my doubts after hearing some of the RH rates. I have some in savings and i'm really fortunate that i get a couple bonus' from work before the big day, but it's still so hard! i love how we all share tips on how to cut corners in any way possible! i'm definitely looking into doing my own center peices (at least on every other table, then do the flowers on the other half), getting a DJ and not a band, etc...

My dad is paying so we have 65k budget but I don't want to use it all because any money we dont use we can put into our house... so I am totally not looking to spend that much... our RH is going to cost about 16k, photog about 5k and i don't have anything else yet...but I am not looking to go nuts...although it is so easy!!!

Same here!!! 16k for the hall is cheap compared to most other budgets on here!!!! I am doin the same as you with hall and photog (but including video in that price as well).... LoL If I could do the budget at 20k, I would gladly like to!! But its really not feasible!
