What's Everyones Wedding Budget?

Mine is around 60K and that includes everything....invitations and all. 80K if we are including honeymoon.

Our original was 30,000. Then it was 35,000 for 100 people.

I think we will be more like 40,000 (I HOPE NOT MORE!!!!) not including honeymoon...

FH will faint lol since he's still hoping for 35,000.

We had 30K then increased to 35K and then basically threw the budget out the window... BUT - we aare having at least 225 at the reception (that's our guarantee) so outs RH is costing almost what your budget is lol - with 120 guests I think that is definitely do-able!

Same here, we are trying to stay around $40,000.

We say our budget is around 35K, but I don't want to go over 40K. We are thinking 175-200 guests. Not including the honeymoon.

I haven't starting looking into honeymoons yet, but it looks like people may be budgeting 15K - 20K.

How much do honeymoons typically cost? I know it could be anything, but the average?!

We didn't set a budget before we started planning since we really had no idea how much things would cost. As we've started booking vendors and gathering info from the lovely LIW ladies ( ), our budget is somewhere around $40K for 175 guests. That includes everything- HM, rings, tips, etc.

i don't have one. I know that's awful but I'm pretending its free at this point.

The thought of parting with $22k just for my hall and that's MINIMUM without anyone adding people or anything else makes me freak out.

and that's without everything else... so...insert head in sand.

I wish I had a budget like the platinum wedding shows I watch... BUT realistically my wedding budget is about 30K...which is what some of those florists alone cost on platinum weddings!

Its hard...BUT I am finding I am able to save here and they by using vendors that friends personally know...and pulling the 'friend of so and so' card out.

EX: Save the date and stationary place..I found out the the owner of the place I wanted was the uncle of a co-worker of mine...I pulled that card, and he literally cut the price in half!!!

IT CANT HURT TO ASK!

PS: We are going to book at The Harbor Club in Huntington... and they throw in A LOT... so that helps with cost (have any of you 2011 brides looked there??)

OHHHH one more thing: It seems like honeymoons can cost sooo much... we are going to do a HM cruise... that is a GREAT vacation....and not too costly... just throwing that out there... I know some ppl dont like cruising....BUT if you do... they have lots of add ons for Honeymooners!

Our budget is $20,000. So far we have stayed under and we just about have everything booked. I got a lot of great deals and discounts through my coordinator, and having a Friday wedding helped. We will only be having about 80-100 people.

As for the honeymoon, FIL's are paying for that. We were looking at about $2000 for that.

same here...more like I didnt set a budget and I'm just pricing things as I go..but I want to keep everything around 30K - 35K. My FH on the other hand...if he could get us married for free he would!!!

Where are you going on your honeymoon for 20K?

I didnt want to spend more than 25-28K, but we have sooo many people (283) that it's almost impossible!
Ive been getting deals and everything, but I think we will be a little over 30K, including honeymoon.

This was with sooo many deals too. Crazy!!
