We say our budget is around 35K, but I don't want to go over 40K. We are thinking 175-200 guests. Not including the honeymoon.
I haven't starting looking into honeymoons yet, but it looks like people may be budgeting 15K - 20K.
How much do honeymoons typically cost? I know it could be anything, but the average?!
15k-20k is INSANE IMO. I am spending 2000 for hotel and flight to Aruba! Hawaii, I can see 10K, maybe a little more.

FH wanted it to be $10k, but that didn't happen. We are at right about $17k and hoping it stays there. 100 people, Thursday night in May. Oh, and FIL is paying for most of the HM.

It totally depends where you want to go - there are so many places to go just in the US without spending a ton of money.. like Florida for instance.
I'm budgeting between 10-15k but I'm planning to go to Europe and seeing 5 different countries.
Originally we were going to go to cancun where we'd only be spending $3000.

I think our wedding is going to be around 55k without the honeymoon...i was really hoping for cheaper...but i guess im not a good negotiator I just get to excited and say YES to everything! thank god i have alot more planning where i can haggle more lol

We're doing two honeymoon cruises - one 5 day to bermuda, and then a 10 day to the eastern caribbean (FH doesn't fly so we had to leave from NY) - they're back to back and on the same ship so we dont even have to get off. 15 day HM! Woo hoo!!!
The price of the ships came to about $3200 with tax, gratuity, etc. Planning on spending probably another $1500 between excursions and alcohol. All in all, I think it was a great deal. And we don't have to fly so FH is happy

We made our budget 20k knowing very well that we would break it, so we tricked ourselves in order to stay under 30 without the honeymoon

How many guests are you having? I'm expecting about 125 guests and I've set the budget for 30,000, not including honeymoon. Is this naive for the old field club? :)

With Honeymoon and all no more than 25000. I am so glad we are doing the all inclusive package it gives uo a lot more breathing room. I don't anticipate more than 130 guests.

Without HM, 35K. Luckily my parents are being so generous and helping us out A LOT or else my budget would be WAAAAAAAY lower
ETA we are expecting 125-150 guests in the summertime

Not including a honeymoon or my dress we started with 20k for a Friday March wedding with 100 guests. We're now up to about 120 guest and looking at 25k.

As a preliminary budget were at about 45k now.. except FH apparently thinks we have unlimited funds and keeps saying 'we should do x,y,z it's not that much more'
But it's hard to say right now since the only thing we've done is book our engagement party and RH we havent even priced anything else!

'10er crashing...so far budget is at $18K. Balance due for all major vendors right now is about 15K. (major vendors being RH, Photo/Video, DJ, Florist and Limo). Wedding size is 55-80 guests.

I wanted to stay under 20K but its already at 20K with the hall and all major vendors. I still need incorporate the invitations, favors, and all the other things we need. Soo we will prob come in at around 25 or 26K- not including the HM
