OMG that is SUCH a good idea for making potatoes!! I am going to try that!! I am tired of eating them roasted with lemon and oil! Give me CHEESE!!
And OMG, we both have gained weight from eating home all the time because not only do I cook but then I have to make dessert too which is usually ice cream sundaes.
You greeks love potatoes with lemon! I never heard of that until I went out with a Greek coworker (I forgot where we went but it was in Astoria... that really narrows things down! ) Those lemon potatoes are soooooooooooo good!

Grilled chicken marinated in Blasamic & garlic over brown rice & broccoli. I love to cook & so does FH since he not only is an NYPD DET. He also owns a pizzeria/restaurant. So we both cook very well! But i try during the week to cook healthy meals & the weekends we splurge!

Oooo definitely try that one. One of the best seafood ive had, so much flavor and those potatoes there are amazing. Its alot of basic seafood things that guys will love so he will be fine hahaha. Most lots of fish, and they use alot of garlic and lemon and other great things to give it nice flavor
also dont worry about going to a traditional greek place, they'll be happy to explain it to you. Ive been and seen others asking questions, greeks loving talking about their food and explaining it to you

thats what i love about greek restaurants, they give you a free shot and free dessert hahaha. This place is always packed, in the summer you have to wait for a seat.

Another Greek friend from work (what can I say... the school is overrun with them all I hear is ti kanis or however you spell it all day long!) said that place near Astoria Park is awesome. Oh man, I wish I remember the name of the place I went to... my friend said they recently moved into the place we went to... they were across the street or something.

We had sushi. I have a great gourmet Harris Teeter in my building with a sushi chef, and he just custom cut and made our tuna and salmon, he made us some rolls too. We inhaled in in like 5 minutes and there were at least 12 pieces . . . so now we'll go downstairs and get some more!!

since it's just myself and my 5 year old daughter here for now (untill the Army lets me have Fh back) I have no choice I have to cook everymeal unless we go out.
