whats going on with fittings and invitations lately?
Seems like everyong is having a dress fitting or ordering or mailing invitations!
well except me, dress isnt coming until August, and invitations arent being ordered until next month...but wow this is our year and it is really flying..feels like it was only yesterday when I jumped on LIW at midnight on January 1 because I was so excited that I was getting married this year
185 more days!

I think its because there are so many spring/summer brides, that's all! The boards definitely go in cycles!

Yeah, summer bride here too, that is why invites go out today and I go and see MY gown the first time today to make sure it was ordered correctly.

I went and tried on my dress because it came in!! I ordered it from a salon other than where I tried it on, AND it is discontinued. I had to make sure it was right.
Invites, hmmm, saw my first proof today, found mistakes. Need to get them because they have to be assembled (in addition to stuffed), need to send envelopes to calligrapher, and well, why wait once a decision has been made on style etc.

I just received my invitations on Friday. Now I just have to have the the addresses done which I think my sister may do for me. I want to send my invitations out by June 20th and I will be away the first half of June for business so I have to have it done early.

i know, i was thinking the same thing! its definitely because of all the spring/summer brides...i'm one of them!!! 66 days!!! woohooo!!!!!

That's ok, everyone is talking about fittings and invitations and bridal showers and I'm hoping to ORDER the dress this Thursday (it'll get here Sept sometime)
Not to worry - there are plenty of us Fall/Winter brides to keep you company!

Its totally not! I remember last october like it was yesterday and thinking, oh we still have 6 months left!! Those months totally FLEW! I'm not kidding at all.
