how are you getting them to your guests? are they being left in teh hotel room? given at reception desk? are you handing it to them?

some candy, bags of pretzels, a soda, a vitamin water, gum, 100 calorie packs...stuff like that we put in, i dont remember what else...

I'm going to buy a bunch of stuff from Costco:
Water Candy 100 cal packs Granola bars Gum Maybe aspirin
I'll be having them at the front desk at the hotel for when they check in.

I had 2 water bottles Bag of pretzles homemade choc chip cookies snowflake items since it was my theme gum tic-tacs
i cant even think what else...I know I had more

EDIT....Also I put in a scroll inside inviting them to our brunch the next day that we were hosting
and I had the hotel hand it to them as each room checked in!

One of our guests took a photo of the bag and its contents. There was another water in there but I guess they were thirsty.
They were at the front desk when people checked in.

HA HA I didn't even notice that!!!! I think there was also another chewy granola bar in there... who knew our friends were such nibblers!?!
But that's what it was there for!

don't know what exactly it going in there (we'll worrying about that closer to the date, but usually the front desk will hold the Welcome Bags behind the desk and when someone comes to check in they will hand them the bag. I think you need to clearly state on each bag who it's intended for (like have a tag with the guests name on it). That's what my friend did at her wedding anyway.

Our hotel would not let us specify what guests the bag goes to without charging us. They wanted identical bags and just to know if it should be one per room or one per individual (we had friends staying together to save money, so like some rooms had two single people in them). I gave them extras and told them that anyone who asks for a bag should get one and just to use their own discretion about one per couple (like if two people who don't appear to be a couple check in, give them each bags). It worked out fine but I had made about 10 extras (I got like 5 extras back the day after).

Our bags will be kept at the front desk and when anyone checks in that has a room under our block they will get a bag. All of the bags have the same stuff in it so it doesnt matter which one they get. I have 1 bag per room with enough stuff for everyone in the room.
I also thought about personally handing them out once all of my guests have checked in. I just dont know if i will have the time to do that
