Anything JLO, Britney or Christina.
MY DJ will NOT play Chicken Dance, Hokey Pokey, etc so I don't have to worry about that stuff.
The first concert I ever went to (hmm, wait the second - my first was Shaun Cassidy) was the Village People so I am okay with YMCA.
Parents are big Billy Idol fans but I do not want Mony, Mony cause I hate when people do that 'Get Laid, Get F'd' thing!!

I highly suggest you place Last Dance on your list, unless you really want it as your last dance...and indicate that. Our band played it FIRST.

I had a band but my list included:
any song that involved a line dance or special dance (electric slide, etc). Hot Hot Hot At Last Wind Beneath My Wings In the Mood (please, is that the ONLY swing song in existance? I feel horrible for all the 60+ people- @ every function they dance to the same f-ing song).... if you have a DJ- please don't let them play that STUPID IN THE MOOD REMIX.. it's aweful- people that really dance want to hear the MUSIC not the REMIX.

LOL so far all ive put on my 'TO PLAY IF TIME ALLOWED' list has been Beatles!!!
Im a huge Beatle fan, my Dad raised me on it.
For me.. My No-No's are Anything Rap Most Country Anything Heavy Metal Nothing about Death or Breakups Mariah Scary Celion Dogon
That's it.. believe it or not..that makes for a lot.
Thankfully I have a DJ with a brain and he TOTALLY understood me so he's gonna have fun! lol

NO boy bands NO Celine Dion No Mariah Carey No Britney Spears, Christina, Jessica Simpson No I will Always Love You No Macarena my little (17 yr old) brother wanted the Limbo for some reason.... no heavy rap no extreme heavy metal no sexually explicit songs or bad language (subtle sexuality is ok I guess...we're a bunch of party people)

I had most of those on my do not play list too! I also remembered at the last minute to add 'Old Time Rock and Roll.' We gave the DJ a huge list of 'to play' songs & also told him not to take any requests from anybody but the 2 of us so we really didn't have to worry about any 'undesirable' songs making their way on there.

Call me weird if you want, but I WANT Electric Slide and Hot, Hot, Hot. Those are 2 of my favorites!!! Chicken Dance is fun, too, but I'm not requesting it. I like all that corny crap. Half the songs you all mentioned I love... Old Time Rock adn Roll rocks!! Greased Lightning??? Don't get me started!!! My favorite movie of all time!!!!
Basically, the only things on my Do Not Play list so far are anything hard-core rap, hard-core metal, and 'Unchained Melodies'. It's kind of a long story, but I'm not allowed to have it.
I don't know if FH has any requests for the DNP list.

My DNP play list includes the chicken dance, teh congo, the electric slide ( although thats really my fh DNP list) . I dont wanta lot of geroup s songs but i like cotton eyed joe for soem reason, also the dollar song, ( cent, 5 cent, 10 cent, dollar) that one i love for some reason!!
