What's one wedding element you don't care much about?
For me overall I have to say it's decor.
I'm not huge on the flowers and i don't think I want to go crazy with custom table numbers and placecard holders. I don't think I need uplighting and to me custom linens and chair covers seem like he ultimate waste of money

I don't care about favors. I've been to 3 weddings in the last 3 years and didn't get a favor at any of them!

There are a few.
Weather. It's not something I can control and I happen to love the rain anyway. It'll prevent our guests from using the grounds at our RH, but I adore rainy wedding pics.
Invites. People throw them out anyway.
Flowers. I'm not much for cut flowers; I'm only using them in the bouquets.
Placecards. I didn't care about them, but I won free ones at TWOTY so that's pretty sweet. I would've just been printing mine using the packs from Michaels.
The cake. I just want it to look nice and taste good, but I don't have anything particular in mind. We're getting it from the RH, so whatever is offered is what we'll be doing in terms of flavors and shape/decor.

I didnt't knw Waffle House has grounds?
Yeah I am also just going to print my own placecards from Michaels or Staples. No need for anything fancy. My friend did votives, which was really nice, and I use them still, but I think most people will toss itl

I don't care how the cake looks, but I got a special package that allows me to choose my own custom design, so I guess I'll have to care!
I don't really care about videographer, but I want to be able to see my BP walk out (especially my flower girl and ring bearers!)
Not doing save the dates or engagement party.

be careful what you claim is a 'waste of money'..im getting linens, chair covers and sashes, and adore them..they were one of the top things on my list

I'm not into the cake. I want it to be smooth white with some fresh flowers on top, but that's about it.

Cake- I personally never liked wedding type cakes and we're having the VH so I doubt anyone is going to eat the cake.
Flowers- I'm taking an interest in but I'm not going crazy with decor. I'm doing low CPs and I'm not decorating my Church.
Favors- We are doing a charitable donation b/c I don't remember ever getting a favor I liked. Although everyone at my bridal shower loved my luggage tag favors.

I didn't care at all about lighting or at least any sort of special mood lighting... I'm really into daylight and bright spaces, so we had an afternoon wedding (and fortunately the weather was gorgeous and sunny, albeit humid) and I loved all the natural light we had.
I've seen gorgeous photos of women with their uplighting and name in lights, and it's beautiful, but just wasn't for me at all.

flowers--- thats why its taking me forever just to get to call them for appointments and its my last big vendor to book .

We're getting married at our RH, so limos aren't a priority for us. Also, FH and I are allergic to most flowers, so we'll probably do centerpieces with minimal flowers.
