I have 2 girls and by the time I actually get hitched again ..(lol) they will be around the ages of 17 and 14..ish. Give or take a year.
My sister and one or two friends would be part of the wedding party as well. Would my girls be considered 'jr' bridesmaids or maybe just the 14 year old? I also have a son that would be around 8 .. not sure what role he would play yet. We would have a very small wedding so I dont want a huge BP. In fact I may only have the kids as part of the wedding , then my BF's 2 sons would walk with the girls.
Heck I dont know... we were just tossing out the ideas and wanted the pros around here opinons! :)

I was in a wedding at 15 and was not a junior bridesmaid. I consider junior bridesmaid as someone who is just too old to be a FG (like think under 12 or 13).
I think both would be considered regular BMs, especially since they are HS age!

I would say over the age of 7/8 and under the age of 13 to be a Jr. Bridesmaid.

my middle girl told my 'BF' that she would like to be a bridesmaid someday.. .. I guess that was her approval for us to be engaged.. which are not officially( have some loose ends to tie up first) but since I am such a freak an love weddings... I can still think about it.
My BF has 2 sons that would match up perfect with the girls as far as a BP goes.. I dont know what to do with my son who again, would be about 8 yrs. old. I wouldnt do the whole GF and RB thing..

I was actually reading about the ages in Martha Stewart Weddings last night. Hahaha! here are her guidelines for ages.
Flower girls and ring bearers are typically 3-7 years old. Jr. BMs and GMs are typically 8-12 Anyone over 13 can be in regualr bridal party.
But it is your wedding, so do what you want!! I think my flower girl is going to be 8 years old, and I could have her be a jr. BM, but I really really want a flower girl!

jr is like the ages of 11-14, i am not having i am having adults and little girls, my flower girls are even considered too little

My Jr. Bridesmaids are 8 and 10. I have four flower girls which are 8, 7, 6, and 2.

My Jr BM's are 12 and 15. They are FH's younger cousins. They are wearing the exact same dress as the BM's because they have very mature bodies. But I ddin't want the younger one to feel left out so I made them both Jr's and the 15 year old is fine with it - she just wanted to be in the wedding

I had 2 Jr BMs, my step-sisters. They were 16 and 13 at the wedding.
I am not sure what the age cut-off is, but you can do whatever you want.
If you want the girls to be BM or Jr BM, that's up to you.

My Jr BMs will be 7 and almost 9 by the wedding. I chose to make them Jr BMs since I already have one little girl at FG age (5).
