for invitations? say 75-100?

Depends on the kind you get........I would say average is abotu $400 with a reception card

There are some companies, Carlson Craft for example that you can go in put your whole order in and it will give you the total before you have to buy......than you just close the window. you can even put your own wording in and see if you like that invite with your wording etc.

mine was $290 for everything at party city for 100 invites

I would say about $300 - 400 for average ones. You can go upwards of $1000 for pocketfolds or embellished ones. So it all depends on what you want and what your budget is.
