i guess it depends on what you're going to be using it for. i used a wide organza ribbon for my favor boxes to tie a pretty bow, but i'm using a narrow satin ribbon for my sachets of tossing lavendar.

I'd go with a narrow satin ribbon - that's what i've seen around. I wish i could help more but we're not doing any personalized ribbons - we just ordered monogramed stickers though for our favors! By the way - i love that idea for an ornament...very cute. i'm a huge fan of Christmas and ornaments - something everyone can use but won't take up unnecessary space. perfect!

well, our jewish friends may not be thrilled but they wil lbe fine - on eof my firend has already gone out scouting an ornament holder for her apt!

Well, i guess you can't please everyone! I can see how Jewish people ight not know what to do with an ornament...but if it's a memory of your day - they can keep it as that. And if you think about it...people give out mini bottles of champagne or wine...what if someone doesn't drink? I still love the idea! Good luck finding ribbon - i found mine online super cheap, by the way....at Papermart I think...you might want to check them out.
