Re: Whats the difference between Ms. and Miss?
I believe that Miss is someone who has never been married and Ms is someone who was married and now is not. Also, some older, single females prefer Ms as they think Miss sounds too young.

When I was addressing my invites, I was told for etiquette reasons the 'miss's should be written as 'Ms.' Go figure. All my Misses where addressed as 'Ms.'

Where I work- we all are called Ms on paperwork--weather we go by Miss or Mrs in conversation. I think it etiquette like JUJU said.
