It used to be all italian and irish, now it's really mixed, there are a lot of people frm ALL different ethnicities. I guess the fastest growing are guayanese and hispanic. I love beingexposed t so many different cultures.

I'm not sure but it is all caucausian (sp?).

where i live in CT is very mixed, which i enjoy i grew up in smithtown and it was primarily caucasion- but it is changing

very mixed...a lot of Orthodox Jews, Russians and Asians, among many others.

Hmmm vast majority is caucasian. Very rarely do you see any other ethnicity at the supermarket, etc.

I grew up in Smithtown, as well, and I used to get made fun of because of how dark my skin is, and not for nothing, I'm not too dark! I used to get so much sh!t as a kid. I'm Puerto Rican and Italian, I didn't think it was so out of the ordinary
As for right now, where I live, all caucasion. Well, mostly.

the town census says that it's 70% Caucasian. That can't be right because it seems to be mostly Asian. That's it though. DH and I were talking about there are ONLY Caucasian and Asian people around here. It's weird not having any other groups around. We're both used to living in areas with lots of different people.

all caucasion -
the past 10 years, our neiborhood has changed from old couples to young newlywed couples or couples with very young children. Of the 4 I know, they've all moved out here from Queens and Brooklyn, and 2 of the 4 familes are 'overseas-relatives-come-for-the-summer' Greeks.
It's pretty cool to watch things change - the old people were SO cranky all the time!

What don't I have in my neighborhood! Italians, Norwegians, Hispanics, Asians, Turkish. Over on 5th ave, lots of Middle Eastern people. I love it- it makes for awesome restaurant choices!

My neighborhood (in Westbury) is mostly Caucasian. Although Westbury also has neighborhoods that are mostly Latino, too.
