This is the Blessing of Hands Prayer. We're not having a full Mass, so it will be a nice addition to the ceremony.

[Woman], please face [man], and hold his hands, palms up, so you may see the gift that they are to you.

These are the hands of your best friend. Young and strong, shaking with love for they are holding yours today, on your wedding day, as he promises to love you all the days of his life.

These are the hands that will work along side yours, as together you build your future, as you laugh and cry, and as you share your secrets and dreams.

These are the hands that will work long hours for you and your family.

These are the hands that will love you and cherish you through the years, for a lifetime of love.

These are the hands that will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes, whether tears of joy or sorrow.

These are the hands that will comfort you in labor, in illness, in joy, and hold you when fear or grief consumes your mind.

Cry packs are little clear envelopes or folded pieces of paper with a tissue in them

bathroom baskets are exactly what they sound like and include things you may need or forgotten... perfume, lipstick, gum, mouthwash, clear nailpolish, etc (do a search to find a complete list)

Slipper baskets are for when your guests have sore feet and they put on a pair of slipperrs so they are comfy again and can contue to dance!

I have gotten some much from this board. I am so happy that I was told about it. It's been a blessing!

what are the 'we do' letters, wands and bridesmaid newsletter??

I have gotten a TON of great ideas, feedback, thoughts, advice and sympathy from this site and I really think I would have been lost with out everyone

Now....I have a ton of questions about everyone's answers, lol! I might sound like a 3 year old, but here they are......

The Blessing of the Hands is BEAUTIFUL- I am saving it!!! It made me start to cry!!!!!

Does anyone have directions for cry packets? I like this idea.

Does anyone have directions for making a card box?

Is everyone doing a guest book? My cousin told me it was a waste of time because no one really bothers to sign it. Do you put someone in charge of it like in Sex and the City? (anyone else remember that episode, lol)

The Polaroid guest book sounds cool- I guess you would have to have someone in charge of that too? Do you still have the people sign something or just take their picture?

Whats the bathroom guest book? (aside from a GB in the bathroom....or is that it?)

What are some of the guest book alternatives?

Are the votive placecards also the favor?

LOVE the pasta plate idea as my FI is Italian too. How does it not smudge though? Where do you find that?

The bathroom baskets......isn't that pretty much included with your bathroom attendant?
