What's the length of your engagement?

I realized last night that mine and FH's engagement is EXACTLY a year and a half long (to the day!), from the date he proposed to the date of the wedding. Weird how that worked out; I kinda like that it's so specific because I'm a nerd.

How long is your engagement going to be?

We've been engaged for 5 years and 7 months. It will be at least another year (more likely 18 months) until we get married. We've been together for over ten years.

I guess good things come to those who wait, but we wish we didn't have to wait so long!

we got engaged december 26th 2008, and the wedding is july 17th, 2010 so that is about 19 months!

We got married 6/21/08 but he proposed to me 4/05 about a year after we graduated from college. We waited about three years before we tied the knot. We want to give ourselves time to get settled in our careers.
