The music... if its bad, then then the party is totally boring. I'll forget the food, flowers, etc, but I'll always remember if I had a good time or if I was bored out of my skull!

I also chose music, which is funny, because it is what we are spending the LEAST on.

I would go with music and food/dinner/drinks. That's what everyone either raves about or complains about (depending on the person)

That the bride and groom are enjoying themselves and are relaxed, having a good time. Otherwise, the reception is boring...no matter the food or entertainment.

I think if the bride and groom are enjoying themselves and the experience, then the wedding just, naturally, flows.

(Music is important too and so is the bar staff/bartending... I like to drink at weddings!

I like all of those thigns and they all make the wedding better, more enjoyable, more special, but I voted for music, because even if the food stinks, there are no flowers, etc, I will still have a great time if I'm dancing my azz off.

The food is always the most important thing to me at a wedding. That, and having a seat during the cocktail hour.

while the food can be rather big--i have to say that if the music/entertainment isn't rocking....well it's just a dull party to me! FH and i have had just about all our major vendors booked since last July...but we've taken our time with a DJ! we want to make sure we find the right one!
