What's the most important thing? (Poll)

Original post by JNMWineBride

When you go to a wedding, what is most important to you as the guest?

Just curious to see the responses.

Music and food.. that is all you really talk about after. Not what color or type of flowers someone had.

I think that the entertainment is the best part. Your guests will surely remember if they were on their feet all night partying

Definitely the music- if I have a good time dancing then I won't even remember anything else. The food is always secondary for me.

Since most of my family are partiers and will dance to a boom box, since they do this at every get together, for me the most important thing is the decor. I have spent so much time looking at pictures of weddings, I can only hope my flowers and decorations look as beautiful. I know the open bar will take care of the rest.

I vote none of the above.

Weddings are about the ceremony, seeing the marriage actually happen. The rest is just a party.

MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC!!!

It makes or breaks a wedding. I honestly could care less about the food. As long as the drinks keep coming and a good band is playing, it's a great wedding to me : )

That the bride and groom are enjoying themselves and are relaxed, having a good time. Otherwise, the reception is boring...no matter the food or entertainment.

well said, I couldn't agree more!

I love a good party so I must say the music ....but food is important as well.

I focus on the food. I can tune out music, especially since I don't particularly love to dance.

I agree fully....I went to a wedding where the entire night the bride/groom were barely together & never on the dance floor...it kind of set the tone for the whole wedding...not many people danced & it was uncomfortable---people kept saying 'where's Groom' or 'where's Bride'

Second though would be music, if your band/DJ is playing songs that the crowd isn't into or is just obnoxious or in your face, it could change the experience of the entire wedding....

Food and then entertainment and music...

I'd say music, because if I'm at a wedding and the music is good, I'm dancing so much that I forget about the food at my table anyways.

Music, definitely. Food comes in second.

Same here.

I definately think to me, the most important thing is my guests having fun. I polled for music/entertainment.
