Whats the most inappropriate comment you have heard since becoming engaged?
I've heard a few but the most recent one was from a co-worker. She asked where I was going on my Hm and I said Aruba and she had the audacity to say to me 'Oh, Aruba, I went there, yea I hated Aruba, I know alot of people love it there but I really hated that trip' UMM HELLO!??!?! My mouth dropped... I smiled and said 'Oh thats great to know, thanks!!' and walked away.

UGH , I have been to aruba and it is me and fh's FAV place. ITS GORGEOUS there, and we had such a great time!

Ive had a few, but the best one was a girlfriend of mine, When i was deciding what company i wanted to have my makeup done for my trial between Mac and Estee lauder, i asked her which one had better water proof mascara and she looked at me and said, why do you plan on crying at your wedding, so i said , i dont know it could happen and she said, Oh My God, you have to be kidding, thats ridiculous, why would you cry at your wedding and then she sighed, nodded her head and walked away.
ETA: my mother said, oh shes just jealous because she got married at the courthouse.

ANOTHER CO-WORKER and I were talking about my choice of color for BM dresses and I was telling her that FH doesnt like the color I picked so she says to me 'Why? what color is it?' and I said 'champange, heres the swatch so you can see the color' and I pulled the swatch and and she makes this face and goes 'OH well I can see why he doesnt like it'!

it didnt really bother me, but DH used to get so annoyed when people would say to him 'you know, its not too late to run'. original
(besides, the boy knew his was shackled down well before the wedding day... no need to offer him a false glipse of freedom )

One of my BMs (one of my best friends) has informed me that she doesn't like the BM gown. Um, hello? it's an a-line gown, what's not to like? Oh wait, I forgot, I didn't choose the one SHE wanted, so of course she hates it. I say s h u t up and wear it

I always get the 'are you nervous yet' line... and I can understand being 'nervous' about EVERYTING getting Done on time, but I KNOW people mean 'nervous' about being married, and I HATE it when they say that... I want to be like, 'NO, I'm NOT nervous YET and will NOT be... i'm EXCITED! ' just my pet peeve!
but the most innapropate was from FH's side ( ) ha ha... These LONG distance family, whom i have NEVER heard of in the past 5 1/2 years all of a sudden calls up the FINL's and is like 'Oh, i'm So excited for the wedding'... um hello.... they haevnt' talked in OVER 7-8 years, THEY LIVE IN FLORIDA, and NO, they weren't on our list... ahhhhhhhh... now they are... WHY do people invite themselves????

the worst was the day i booked the hall, i was so excited i called my MOH asap and told her, her reply, 'you're kidding right?!, that place is beautiful but the food is terrible!!' i hung up on her and starting crying, she apologized so much, i've forgiven her, but i'll never forget it!!!! and since then i've had my tasting and the food is out of this world!!! i can't wait for her to literally eat her words at our wedding!
