Oh I have another one!!!
One of my GOOD FRIENDS and a BM when she finally saw my Ering - ' Its nice!....... I just thought it would be alot bigger'

Another GOOD friend and BM when I told her we decided to get married in the church instead of at the hall ' Ewww why would you want to do that? Churches are so creepy looking' ( And shes Catholic & My sons godmother!!!!! )

Yeah can you believe that?!?!?! The same friend who made the comment about the size of my Ering when we were out one day we bumped into an old friend who told us 'I got engaged a few months ago' My friend goes ' Oh congratulations!!! Why arent you wearing your ring??' She goes 'Oh I am here it is' and stuck her hand out. My friend was like oooooh thats cute! - and when we walked away she turned to me and goes ' Omg is it me or did you have to squint to see that ring?? It look like Lint got stuck to her finger!'

ok so this isnt an inappropriate comment, per se, but my mom wants us to play 'I believe I can fly' at the wedding. I had to explain to her IN DETAIL what R. Kelly did and why I do not want that song at my wedding. She went on to say that I better not have any Michael Jackson then... but I told her I wanna have the DJ play Dont Stop Till you get enough and she goes 'yea hes not stopping either'

FI cousins said that to him in front of me DEAD SERIOUS!!!!!

Oh i have so many:
We had a 2 year engagement so when we announced the date i got so many comments from people like, why so long? you might change your mind, or he might change his mind.
Other ones i get:
'You're STILL not married!'
'I hate Friday night weddings'
'You know...July can be really hot!'
SHUT UP PEOPLE!!!!

OMG...I got the same comment on my ering. My ering is a carat and a half...it may not be HUGE but it's certainly not cute!


I've also gotten, 'Wow! That's a short engagement!' By the time of our wedding, we will be engaged for a little over 9 months. We are also in our 30's and have been living together for over a year.

(Mind you this is my mothers cousin who asked me every time she talked to me (which was frequent) when we were going to get married)
I might be only 22, but we've been dating for almost 7 years! I know what I want lady!
That annoyed me...
Mostly weve got the 'you dont think ur too young?'

Also his BIL said 'are you sure u want to go through w/this'.
btw i hate his BIL.

I heard so many and from people that are supposed to be friends too.

I am 27, so the too young comment doesnt happen. I have heard oh you going to lose weigh? Like if I lose 20 lbs my wedding will be better.

i love when married people ask WHY? and laugh. hmmm makes you wonder why the world is the state its in

Well heres a good one, When I met my FH 7 years ago I told my VERY B****Y aunt his family was from Guyana and she waved her hnd in my face and said 'OH if you have kids they will be MIXED' I could do nothing but walk away, I was shocked she still doesnt like him.

when i showed my ring they said 'you still have time to say no!!!'
