Hey there HS buddy! Congrats! I'd have to say the one material thing I'd want for my wedding would be a ridiculously lavish month-long honeymoon in Hawaii. I've also been dying for stupidly expensive invitations! What about u, Krys?

Easy! If I had the money, I'd spend it on a photobooth for the wedding! But I cannot justify $2000 for that

We may have to use paper plates for the reception but we are def having this.

Hmma house? LOL but as far as the actually wedding...

Probably change our venue. I love it but my heart was really set on an elaborate garden wedding with tents and full flooming flowers and grounds for our backdrops. WAAY too expensive but if money was no problem, we'd have done that and I'd have gone with a gown and headpiece that were alittle more elaborate. Probably also do day-after wedding shoot but I cant justify that kind of money now, especially because FH hates taking photos-going to do a lot of candid for him.

Everything The one thing would be the flowers and photographer seem to be so over what we were thinking of.

I would have loved to have an:

upgraded cake
oheka castle would have been nice
going to tahiti (maybe an anniversary trip one year)
Band I definitely wanted but couldnt afford it.

I would definitely like to have the photo booth.. but I'm scared people will be lining up to use it and it will take time away from enjoying the wedding.

I think I would like to splurge on a HUGE wedding band..(ring) Mine is 1.65 carats.. 7 diamonds prong set in platinum.. and I love it.. BUT I would love to have like a 5 carat eternity band or something hahahahaha

We wanted to have 'Big Shot' (Billy Joel cover band) play for the last hour (Vienese Hour) of our wedding. FH loves Billy Joel and they honestly do a great job BUT they wanted $8,000 for 1 hour plus meals and a dressing room. Ummmm, I think they possibly think they ARE Billy Joel and not 'just' a cover band ugh get over yourself

I just called FH and told him about this. He kept suggesting We contact them to do the whole wedding and I said people don't want all Billy Joel, all the time.

Now I'm glad we didn't bother looking into it!!

As for me I would:

-Buy my 1st choice dress (still in love with it...cost 3x what I paid for my dress)
-OR-
-Booked Carlyle on the Green or Atlantica or a vineyard (again- over budget...)
-OR-
-Custom Lighting
-OR-
-The invitations I wanted
-OR-
-The photobooth- I put the brochure on the fridge at my parent's house...but they didn't take the hint (j/k- they're already paying for most of the wedding...I thought they might think it was cool and that I HAD to have it- no such luck...lol)


I settled ALOT- apparently I have caviar taste on a hot dog budget

that's why we aren't having the photobooth. all my friends will spend the night lined up outside it to get pictures. no one would be dancing!

We saw BS in March and the lead definetely sounds like Billy but still that's soooooo ridiculous.

We went to a wedding last year, one of FH's friends, he supposedly asked Elton John and was told 1 million for the event.

For me, i would love one of the horse drawn cinderalla carriages.

I would pay for my entire family to be there.


I would also have the money for tons of flowers, I love flowers but I just don't have the money for all the flowers


I also want a hawaiian trio, we'll see if FMIL comes though on this
