I think the perfect is age is differnt for every couple. For me the perfect age is around 30-31. I will be married at 29 and hopefully shortly after we will get pregnant. I like the fact that both fh and I have steady, sturdy careers already and that we have both lived our lives to the fullest. So in my eyes, that now makes us ready

im not playing on having kids til my very late 20's or early 30's. im only 22 and want to really do alot of things before i think of kids.

I plan to have my first at 23! I want my life back and them out of the house by 45!!! My mom waited to 35 and she was always so much older than the other moms and by the time I was 20 her health was already taking a toll on her.

I am 26 and FH is 32...he doesn't want to wait too long, I want to wait until we get our first house, hopefully that will happen within 2 years!

DH and I want to spend at least a year as husband and wife then have some children.
He's going to be 35 in July and I'll be 32 in July.

FH wants to start after the HM - but we havent lived together yet - we hope to have ahouse in about a year or 2 - so sometime in there!

Us too! We are both 34, and are totally fine having kids at 35. I don't think there's any right or wrong age. It varies from couple to couple, and sometimes from culture to culture or where you live. My mom had all 3 of us by the time she was 28, yet my sister and I both are getting married in our 30's. My sister got married 2 years ago, and had her first at 37, got pregnant the first try, and my nephew is amazing! But, I am starting to get the fever, not sure if we'll make it the full year -- we've already been living together for a year and a half though.

we'll be 24 when we get married and probably want to wait 4-5 years. i have one more year of law school, want to work at least a few years without kids, and we want to travel!

I had my oldest when I was 20. Sometimes I feel he got the short end of the stick by having a mother who clearly didn't know what she was doing. But now that we've both grown up, he likes having the cool mom.
It was hard at first, but now I am happy I had them early. It's different for everyone though. My only advice: make sure your marriage is strong: because being single with 3 kids BLOWS!
