Okay maybe I'm just clueless, but when limo companies charge the cost of limo + 20% gratuity. Does that mean that includes the tip for the limo driver?
Or are you supposed to tip additionally for the limo driver?

I know that we were told that we are expected to tip the drivers day of. Which I probably would have done anyway even if not told so when we booked.

I think the gratuity should include the driver's tip....otherwise where is the 20% going to?? you know it doesn't cost $500 or more to run 1 limo around town for 3 hours....
I am going to stage a revolution...I will NOT give extra tips to people who don't deserve it!!!!

The gratuity you are paying before the day of the wedding goes to pay the drivers salary, not as an additional tip.

the gratuity is suppose to be for the drivers tip...however I ended up tipping our driver more since he did things like fluff my dress, fixed my veil, got me water, and altoids....so i think if you want to you can give him a extra lilttle something if not the gratuity is his tip
