What's the significance fo your wedding date?

Why did you choose it?

Ours is our 12th dating anniversary. We didn't plan on a Sunday unless it was memorial day Sunday, but then it was booked and we were at a hall we couldn't afford on a Saturday, and that date was one of the few left and we felt it was perfect

We chose it because it was 17% cheaper than the two months later that we had been considering, for no particular reason. We're so romantic!!!!

Actually, we wanted 06/18/11. I didnt want to get married on a Friday, which is 06/17/11, our anniversary. So I wanted to closest Saturday to it. But there was already a contract in the works for that date so I picked 06/25/11.

June is a very significant month for us. We started dating, got engaged and are getting married in June!!

It's just a very special time for us!!

Actually, we wanted 06/18/11. I didnt want to get married on a Friday, which is 06/17/11, our anniversary. So I wanted to closest Saturday to it. But there was already a contract in the works for that date so I picked 06/25/11.

June is a very significant month for us. We started dating, got engaged and are getting married in June!!

It's just a very special time for us!!

well im a T.A and hope to have af ull time teaching position by the time we get married and school goes until the end of june so that why we picked the beginning of july... it just made it so much better that the 3rd fell on a sunday which made everything cheaper, but its like a saturday cause everyone has off on the 4th.... Also we Love Love Love the summer and FML always has a big 4th of july/ kick off to summer party so we figured this would be a perfect day!

September 25th was my grandfather's birthday and I wanted to get a day that was closest to it.

No initial significance....we were originally aiming for the 21st of a month (my bday is on the 21st, he proposed on the 21st (different months)...) one less date for FH to remember

We ended up going to geekdom and turning it into a math problem: 10/1/11....10+1=11 Also turns out it was the day Henry Ford introduced the model T.

we were all over the place with dates but April was Cheaper then may by 10 pp and my best friends brother was getting married on the 30th and easter was a week before that so the 16th was the latest saturday in april we could do.

June 4th is our anniversary. But Saturday was too expensive so we picked Friday the 3rd.

We wanted to get married on July 1st which would be our 10th anniversary but I didn't want a Friday wedding.

We are getting married April 9th due to price. I wanted a Saturday night wedding. Plus I will still be 30 when we get married.

I picked our date because it was 7/18... as in 718... as in Brooklyn... where we met and dated and where DH proposed...

I knew I would be moving out of NY after the wedding and I always wanted to take a little piece of Brooklyn with me.

welll i orginally wanted my grandparents annviersary but since that didnt fall on a weekend i decided to go for my grandpas birthday (June 24) but when that was booked i figured id get the closest thing to it ,which is the weekend after, july 1st!

WIth FH being a teacher we needed to piggy back off a holiday - i didnt want a summer wedding and i didn't want a winter wedding or fall for that matter, i def wanted spring.

We wanted the 29th but the place we booked at had that date already taken so we just went w/ the Saturday.

It also happens to be 2 days after my b-day My grandma got married on her b-day so its kinda cute, but that just happens to be a co-ink-e-dink lol

We originally wanted March 25 because that would be our fifth anniversary, but it was booked, so we went for the week before.The 18th is kinda significant because we started talking about a relationship then. All of the major milestones in our relationship took place: we met in person, officially started dating and got engaged, all in March. It was fitting to get married in March too.
