I just got an estimate for a total with shipping and she added a discount for 745.00 bucks...i feel like that is way too much to spend for favors! But I really wanted them....what is average??

Im not sure what we spent. My husbands mom bought our boxes, ribbon, and labels. Then his aunt bought the stuff to amke the candies. I think they spent around $300 total maybe? This was for 150 people. The number of people makes a huge difference!

We're paying about $1500 (crazy I know!) but, we have about 300 ppl and it's an italian wedding and my family is annoying with the favors..it has to be something substantial and useful and pretty..blah blah blah. Our budget was more like $600-$800, but we just couldn't find anything that my mom 'approved', so she's going to help us out with the cost.
Ummm, did you try searching, maybe you can find different cupcakes? Favors was definitely my least favorite part of planning, deciding and paying for!
OH I understand your pain, my Greek Mother isn't happy with anything I've showed her, I haven't even told her about these...she loves the whole Jordan Almonds and some other things that I am just not into! I want to do something edible she isn't a fan...but she isn't paying so I win!!
I have looked around at everything and nothing strikes me more than these. But I might have to keep on looking...

They are Fat Daddy Cupcakes in a jar, i LOVE cupcakes and these are delish and they look cute too! lol I thought they would be different.
Totally know them (Check your FM) well that seems reasonable - its a nitch item and you and I both know how she works so. if you love them GO FOR IT! I'm going to make my now infamous Irish Car Bomb cupcakes for the OOT Gift bags :) Yes Guinness cupcakes with Bailey's irish cream butter cream filling and chocolate ganache frosting! YUUUUMMMMMM I think this is GREAT! its what you love - a great container - which is hard to come by in cupcake land and ADORABLE!!!!!

I know you should see the other pictures I was drooling! I feel they would be something fun and different! I might just have to suck it up and pick up some more shifts at my second job to pay for these!

Maybe a local bakery can do something similar? Go cupcake tasting this weekend and see if you can find one as good and will do this for you!

We spent 200 something for the favors themselves, and about 100 for wrapping...so around 300....
